§ 111.460. License.

    Requirement. No person shall own or operate a hall, room, rink, or ground used for roller skating by the public without first obtaining a license therefor as provided in this article.

    B.

    Fee—Term—Transfer.

    1.

    The license fee, payable to the License Clerk at the time of application, shall be one hundred eighty-five dollars for each business location. This fee which is paid at the time of application is not refundable in any case. Upon approval of the application by the Mayor, the License Clerk shall issue a license for a period of one year from the date thereof.

    2.

    Licenses issued under this article shall not be transferable to any other person and the business may be conducted only at the location for which the license is issued.

    C.

    Posting. Every owner or operator of a public roller skating rink shall post his license in a conspicuous place in the hall where such roller skating is held. Penalty, see § 111.999.
