§ 111.080. Definitions.

  • For the purpose of this article the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

    "Bus" or "motorbus." Any vehicle, whether powered by electricity or liquid fuel, having a seating capacity for at least twenty passengers, engaged in the business of carrying passengers for hire in or within the city. However, motorbuses used exclusively for the transportation of interurban passengers shall not be included within the meaning of such term.

    "In the city" or "within the city." On any of the streets, avenues, highways, bridges, alleys, courts, lanes, or public places within the corporate limits of the city.
