§ 133.09. Soliciting.

Latest version.

A.

No person shall solicit another to engage with the other person in sexual activity for hire.

B.

Whoever violates this section is guilty of soliciting, a misdemeanor of the third degree.

C.

Whoever has previously been convicted of any one of the following is guilty of a misdemeanor of the first degree:

1.

Soliciting under this section or R.C. § 2907.24, or

2.

Prostitution under § 133.07 or R.C. § 2907.25, or

3.

Procuring under § 133.08 or R.C. § 2907.23, or

4.

An ordinance similar to subsections (C)(1), (2) (3) of another Ohio municipality. Penalty, see § 130.99. (R.C. § 2907.24)
