For the purpose of regulating and restricting the locations of trades, industries,
residences, and buildings designed for other uses, the use of premises, the number
of square feet of lot area per family housed, the location and size of yards and open
spaces about buildings, and the height of buildings, the City is divided into thirteen
classes of use districts,: one flood plain district, four residence districts, five
business districts, two industry districts, and one planned development district,
as set forth in this chapter.
