§ 190.201. Permits required.

  • A.

    Permit Required. No person shall commence or engage in any operation regulated by this building code, or cause the same to be done, without obtaining a required permit.

    B.

    Separate Permit Per Operation. A separate permit is required to commence or proceed with each operation described below:

    1.

    Sitework. To grade, pave, excavate, fill and final site grade a premises.

    2.

    Demolition. To raze or demolish a building or structure or part of a building or structure.

    3.

    Storage Tank. To install, alter or remove a storage tank.

    4.

    Swimming Pool. To install a swimming pool and required fencing.

    5.

    Public Right-of-Way Structure. To construct, add to, alter or repair a structure in, under, or over the public right-of-way.

    C.

    Exceptions. Permits are not required:

    To erect a swimming pool that is less than two hundred fifty square feet and not more than two feet in depth.
