§ 190.205. Plan approval—Full and partial permit.

    Examination—Approval. The Superintendent shall examine or cause to be examined each request for plan approval in the order received and shall determine compliance or noncompliance with the applicable code or codes. If the Superintendent is satisfied that the plans and specifications conform with the intent of the applicable codes, ordinances or laws he shall mark them approved for the issuance of a permit, provided that the Director of Public Service shall be promptly notified of all permits issued for moving or razing of structures.

    B.

    Inadequate Plans. If the plans, specifications or other matter filed with an application describe or indicate work which does not conform to this building code or other pertinent law, the Superintendent shall not issue a permit but he shall notify that applicant of such refusal and give the reasons therefor. This refusal and reasons shall be in writing. All plans and specifications filed with the application shall be returned to the applicant within thirty days after the date of the refusal of the permit if the applicant requests these from the building inspection division.
