§ 193.301. Roof drainage and water accumulation.

    Drainage. Roofs of buildings and structures shall be drained to gutters, conductors, or leaders. Means shall be provided to prevent rain water from entering any part of a building or structure or from dripping or falling on a public street or sidewalk.

    B.

    Scuppers. Where it is possible that a roof drain may fail to function and cause a load on a roof of more than the design load, through the accumulation of water, scuppers shall be installed at elevations in parapet walls to prevent overloading.
