§ 72.17. Use of controlled-access streets or highways.

  • No person shall ride upon or drive a bicycle, a motor-driven cycle with a motor which produces not to exceed five brake horsepower, an agricultural tractor, or farm machinery, except in the performance of public works or official duties, or transport any load more than ten feet in width, upon those roads, streets, highways, and other public ways in the City which are now or hereafter may be designated as controlled-access streets or highways. Except in cases of emergency, no person shall walk upon such controlled-access streets or highways or upon the center or curb strips adjacent thereto. Penalty, see § 70.99.
