§ 92.17. Injuring or molesting police dogs.

No person shall purposely or knowingly torture, molest, torment, beat, kick, strike, mutilate, injure, disable or kill any dog used by the Police Division in the performance of its functions, nor shall any person interfere with or meddle with any dog while being used by the Police Division or any officer or member thereof in the performance of any of the functions or duties of the division or of such officer or member.
