§ 93.44. Open flame lighting devices.
No person shall use, or permit the use of, any open flame lighting device in any place of assembly except where adequate precautions are taken to avoid danger of ignition of combustible materials or injury to occupants; and
A.
Such devices are necessary for ceremonial or religious purposes; or
B.
When approved, devices are used on stage and are a necessary part of a theatrical performance; or
C.
Such devices are permitted under § 93.45. Penalty, see § 93.99.
