§ 93.71. Signs to prevent cooking fires.

  • To reduce the incidence of cooking fires, "avoiding recipes for disaster" signage, which may be obtained from the Bureau of Fire Prevention, shall be prominently displayed in the following establishments:

    A.

    In bars and taverns a minimum of two signs must be displayed in bathrooms or on bulletin boards.

    B.

    In residential apartment buildings containing 20 units or more, a minimum of two signs must be displayed in common areas, such as elevators, laundry rooms, or community rooms.
