§ 94.16. Storage of unlicensed vehicles.

  • No person shall park or store, or permit to be parked or stored, for a period of more than ten days, any unlicensed motor vehicle or any vehicle not in operating condition except in an enclosed building or garage or as otherwise permitted by law. In addition to the penalty provided in §§ 94.99(G) and 94.32, a motor vehicle parked or stored in violation of this section after ten days' notice of such violation, served in the manner stated in § 94.15(B)(1) and the opportunity for appeal provided by § 94.15(B)(2), by the Police Division or the Director of Neighborhood Assistance or their designees, may be removed to a motor vehicle pound or other place of storage by any Police Officer, at his discretion, and shall not be released except on payment of towing and storage charges. Motor vehicles so removed may be disposed of according to the provisions of R.C. §§ 4513.61, et seq.
