§ 94.24. Burning rubber products.

    For the purpose of this section, "rubber" and "rubber products" shall mean any substance of which rubber composes a material or substantial part, whether the same is fabricated or compounded.

    B.

    No person shall burn rubber or other substances in the City which, during the process of combustion, shall emit unhealthful or otherwise offensive smoke or odors. However, this section shall not apply to the burning of such substances in incinerators or furnaces constructed in conformity with good engineering practice, as approved by the Superintendent of Building Inspection and Regulation.
