§ 94.83. Disposal of lead-bearing substances.

A.

Disposal of lead-bearing substances, their ashes, and other refuse shall comply with procedures established by the Director of Health.

B.

Open burning of batteries, battery cases, and other materials with heavy accumulations of lead is prohibited.

C.

Utilization wood painted with lead-based coatings is prohibited also.

D.

Contaminated soil shall be either turned under at least twelve inches deep or removed and replaced with clean fill dirt or top soil. Penalty, see § 94.99.
