§ 95.29. Distributing at inhabited private property.

    Subject to the restrictions provided in § 95.28, no person shall throw, deposit or distribute any handbill in or on private property which is inhabited, except by handing or transmitting the handbill directly to the owner, occupant or other person then present in or on the private property, or by placing or depositing the handbill in or on the inhabited private property, if the handbill is so placed or deposited as to secure or prevent it from being blown or drifted about the property or sidewalks, streets or other public places, and except that mailboxes may not be so used when so prohibited by federal postal law or regulations.

    B.

    The provisions of subsection A of this section shall not apply to the distribution of mail by the United States. Penalty, see § 95.99.
