§ 98.23. Cash deposit required.

  • Any person constructing or repairing sidewalks within the corporate limits of the City shall furnish to the Director of Public Service a cash deposit in such amount as he determines but not to exceed twenty-five percent of the cost of the sidewalk, as estimated by the Director, such sum to cover the cost or expense of having such sidewalk built in accordance with the grade specified in § 98.24 and in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Director. However, if the person constructs the sidewalk in accordance with the plans and specifications prepared by the Director, the cash deposit shall be refunded to the person making such deposit.
