§ 98.24. Grade.

All sidewalks within the City shall be laid on a grade rising ¼-inch to the foot from the established curb grade line to the street line, unless otherwise provided in the ordinance or resolution authorizing or ordering the construction or repair of any specified sidewalk. Transitional sections of sidewalk connecting new sidewalk to existing sidewalks that do not meet current standards and specifications shall provide a smooth transition at a maximum warping rate of 1/8 -inch vertical change per lineal foot horizontal distance traveled and minimum distance shall be one full sidewalk block.
