§ 98.60. Requirements.
A.
The owner of every permanent building upon the streets of the City shall affix to such building or cause to be affixed to such building the number assigned to such building pursuant to § 98.65.
B.
Such numbers shall be at least three inches in height; shall be of a contrasting color to the background; shall be posted by or near the identified door; shall be posted above the snow line or two feet above the threshold; and shall be posted so as to be clearly visible from the centerline of the street by persons of normal visual acuity.
C.
Where buildings are not plainly visible from the street the owner may in lieu of the provisions of subsection B of this section post the assigned number immediately adjacent to the main access to the public thoroughfare in a manner which, except for its location, complies with all the requirements of subsection B of this section.
