§ 111.244. Fires.
A.
Any person having charge or control of a landfill shall use all reasonable means available to extinguish fires upon and after actual notice of the outbreak of any fire on the premises, and shall maintain continuous personnel present at such premises during the continuance of such burning. The violation of a reasonable personal directive from any authorized enforcement officer of the city, toward the extinguishment or control of such fire, shall constitute prima-facie evidence of a violation of this section.
B.
Upon the outbreak, of any fire upon any premises operated as a landfill, such premises shall be immediately closed by the person in control, and no deliveries of refuse shall be accepted. Upon failure to close during the burning of such fire, the Fire Division is authorized to post "Closed" notices and, if necessary, to use physical means to barricade the entrance to such premises during the period when such burning continues.
