§ 151.09. Sidewalks in new allotments.

  • A.

    In outlying subdivisions which have lots with widths exceeding ninety feet and a dwelling density potential of one to two homes per acre, thirty-inch to forty-eight-inch sidewalks shall be permitted. If the street in this type of subdivision is a cul-de-sac and is under four hundred feet in length without likelihood of any extension, it need not have sidewalks.

    B.

    New subdivision lots ranging in size from sixty feet to ninety feet with a dwelling density potential of two to four homes per acre shall have walks not less than thirty-six inches in width.

    C.

    The lateral location of the sidewalk in new allotments shall be optional with the Planning Commission. Penalty, see § 151.99.
