§ 152.02. Trailers outside of trailer parks.

  • A.

    For the purpose of this section, "Accessory use," "rear yard" and "use district" shall have the meanings ascribed to those terms in Section 153.14.

    B.

    Parking on streets, alleys, or other public places. No person shall park any trailer on any street, alley, highway, or other public place or on any occupied or unoccupied tract of land, except as provided in this chapter.

    C.

    Emergency or temporary stopping. Emergency or temporary stopping or parking is permitted on any street, alley, or highway for not longer than one hour, but such stopping or parking is subject to any other and further prohibitions, regulations, or limitations imposed by the traffic and parking regulations or other ordinances of the city.

    D.

    Parking on or occupying premises of occupied dwelling. No person shall live in or occupy any trailer on any premises or on any lot which is situated outside of an approved trailer park. The parking or storage of only one unoccupied trailer as an accessory use in a rear yard in any use district is permitted, provided that no living quarters are maintained or any business practiced in such trailer while such trailer is so parked or stored.
