§ 31.25. Department of Public Safety.

A.

Private Police. When the Director of Public Safety, under authority of R.C. § 737.05, commissions private policemen, who derive their compensation from private persons or companies, such private policemen shall be subject to suspension or dismissal for conduct while on duty which, in the opinion of the Director, requires such action, and shall be required, in emergencies, to perform such duties as the Director or the Chief of Police, or both, require, and the bonds of such private policemen in the sum of one thousand dollars each, shall be approved by the Director and kept on file by him.

B.

Mutual Fire-Fighting Agreements. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute agreements on behalf of the City with other governmental bodies in the County that have fire-fighting equipment.
