§ 31.26. Department of Public Service.

  • Notice to Council. When the Director of Public Service obtains materials, services, equipment, and supplies in excess of five thousand dollars without the prior authorization of Council, the Director of Public Service must:

    A.

    Send written notice to the Clerk of Council by the next regularly scheduled Council meeting as to the nature of the emergency, the nature of the expenditure, the amount of the expenditure, the terms of the expenditure, and the person, partnership, corporation, or other entity the materials, services, equipment, and supplies were obtained from.

    B.

    Submit legislation to Council requesting authorization by the second regularly scheduled Council meeting following the Director of Public Service obtaining materials, services, equipment, and supplies in excess of five thousand dollars without the prior authorization of Council.
