§ 32.06. Director of Law.

B.

Investigation of Complaints. The Director of Law is authorized and directed to receive complaints of frauds, unlawful practices, unfair practices, and dealings against consumers and any violations of federal, state, and municipal rules, regulations, and laws affecting consumers. He shall investigate such complaints, including complaints referred by other departments and officials and, if necessary, cause to be taken, such action as may be warranted.
